Tech Leadership Meets Disability Advocacy

In 2022 I was diagnosed with Lipedema, a commonly misunderstood health condition related to abnormal fat buildup commonly in the legs and lower body. As I’ve navigated leading my own team, and also navigating disability bias, I’ve learned a lot to share. My journey to manage this condition, while understanding inclusion, belonging and wellbeing in the workplace from a perspective of managing a disability has led me to develop the FIRM Leadership Model.
